As a non-profit studio we ensure that all who dream to dance, can!
SSDC is a community based school of dance providing professional dance education that nurtures the student's physical, emotional, artistic, and social development. We want dance to be a fun and nurturing experience for our youngest dancers. As the dancers get older we encourage body awareness, movement to music, fun, social skills and fitness as part of the entire package at SSDC.
Through our Work-to-Dance program we are able to offer affordable dance classes to ANYONE and EVERYONE. See our Director for more details.
This is YOUR community studio, so to make your experience at SSDC all it can be, please feel free to call us, e-mail us, or stop by and see what we have to offer.

18 years
What is your primary product or service?
Non Profit Dance Instruction, Dance School
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Dance has always been my first love. I have spent the last ten years as a working professional dancer and dance teacher, after graduating with a BFA in Dance from Temple University. The only feeling that has ever eclipsed that of being on stage for me, is seeing my students dance. There is nothing more gratifying in my life than watching a student execute a step or movement that they struggled with the week before. As the director of SSDC, I am thrilled to be able to share my training and experiences with these exceptionally talented young dancers and their families.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
SSDC prides itself on being a technique based studio with some of the most qualified and experienced instructors in the area. What sets us apart, though, is that we provide a top of the line, professional education in a warm, nurturing, and supportive environment. We are a family that works hard, supports one another, and gives back to our community.
