A United Methodist Church providing a contemporary worship experience
Living Waters Church currently meets Sunday mornings, 10:00 AM at Lancaster Christian School, 651 Lampeter Rd., Lancaster. Nursery and children’s program is provided. Many people enjoy Living Waters’ fresh approach to doing church. They enjoy the quality and style of music. The messages are encouraging and practical, applying biblical truths to every day situations. The teaching outline is projected in PowerPoint as well as in the program for note taking. Teachings are enhanced by a video clip, drama, testimony, or special music.
The atmosphere is casual. The church has a “come as you are” approach. That means jeans are appropriate as well as drinking coffee during the service or while visiting with friends and neighbors.
Living Waters Church officially started October 2001 at the Hans Herr Elementary School in Lampeter. The church is founded and led by a husband and wife team, Jody and Laura Sambrick. Today the church averages over 100 each Sunday with a multitude of growth opportunities offered throughout the week.

Interview Q&A
How long have you been in business?
12 years
What is your primary product or service?
Our purpose is to know Jesus and to make Him known. We want to help people connect with God and a loving church family where they can grow.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Our pastor, Jody Sambrick, has been in full time ministry for over 20 years. God dramatically changed his life as a young adult. He believes God has the power to change anyone's life.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Living Waters Church is the only denominational church with contemporary worship in all Sunday morning worship services. We have a "Come as You Are" approach to worship. This means dress is casual. The music is upbeat. You can enjoy a cup of coffee while visiting with friends and neighbors before and after the service. We believe God is more concerned with our hearts than our outward appearance.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
As a newer church renting space, our primary goal is to continue to reach out to the community until our congregation can afford to build. Our priority is growing people not buildings so we will wait until the time is right to build and to plant a new church.
