Escape to our Lancaster, PA bed and breakfast located in the heart of Lancaster County, a quiet and unspoiled location that is home to the PA Dutch, Amish and Mennonite families living on acres of stunning beauty. As you visit, you can catch a glimpse of a lifestyle that focuses on the simple way of living that hasn�t changed much over the years. Our Lancaster bed and breakfast is located in a prime area of rural Lancaster County. The city of Lancaster is about 4 miles to the west of us while Strasburg is 4 miles to the east of us. How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since July 1994.
What is your primary product or service?
We provide lodging for guests coming into the County.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
When tourism started in Lancaster County in the 60's, people were coming and there were not enough motel/hotels to accomodate them. Motels were asking people to open up their homes which many in the county did as a tourist home. We did this for 5 years - I was quite busy and didn't think it fair for our young children so gave it up. After they were in school, I worked for almost 20 years as a bookkeeper. We began thinking about going back into the business, so renovated our property and opened up.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We are in a rural area with a working farm across from us - yet we are only 1 mile from Route 30. Because of my love for flowers, we also have a large - 1 1/3 acre landscaped property filled with perenniels and annuals - something blooming from April till Fall.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Just 1 location - happy with the size we are - for 1 person to operate.

Coming East on Rt. 30, exit at 462 Lincoln Hwy., at bottom of exit turn right and get into the center lane, turn left at the traffic light. We are 1 mile further on the right just before the Country Meadows Development Sign. Coming West on Rt. 30, turn left at the Rt. 896 traffic light and almost immmediately, turn right on to Rockvale Road directly behind the outlets. Go to the 3rd stop sign and turn right on to Strasburg Pike. We are 1/2 mile further on the left just after the Country Meadows Development Sign.

We actually do not service, other than the service we provide from folks coming to us for lodging.

We are privately owned.
What are your hours of operation?
We live here so are available most of the time, but acceptable calling hours would be Monday through Saturday, 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM; Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.
